β¨Step One: Secure Your Order
Your custom experience begins by reaching out through the contact form below, emailing RiverRunsShowPads@yahoo.com, or messaging us directly on Facebook.
Full payment is required prior to the design process beginning. Once payment is received, your project is officially reserved in our production calendar. This ensures your design receives the dedicated time and attention it deserves.
You will also confirm your desired level of customization: Semi Custom or Complete Custom, your pad size, as well as whether you are ordering a Show, Ranch, or Performance pad at checkout.

β¨Step Two: Select Your Design & Colors
You will receive access to our exclusive collection of our handmade, one of a kind signature designs, along with a curated color chart featuring over 100 yarn options.
At this stage, you will select:
- Your design
- Accent colors
- Base color (Complete Custom only)
If you are coordinating your pad with a show outfit, we strongly recommend mailing a fabric swatch. Seeing your garment in person allows us to compare it directly against our yarn samples, helping us achieve the closest possible color match.
This step is where your vision begins to take shape.
β¨Step Three: Digital Mock Up & Refinement
Based on your selections, we will create a detailed digital mock up of your custom pad. This allows you to visualize the final design before production begins.
We will make thoughtful refinements and adjustments as needed to ensure balance, proportion, and overall aesthetic harmony. Our goal is not simply to place colors within a pattern, but to create a design that enhances your overall presentation in the arena.
Production will not begin until you have provided final approval.
β¨Step Four: Production & Craftsmanship
Once approved, your pad enters production.
Each custom pad is carefully crafted with attention to detail, structural integrity, and durability. For Performance options, the 2 in 1 construction with attached ΒΎ" to 1" pressed wool felt liner is seamlessly integrated to provide long lasting support during training and competition.
This stage requires approximately 6 to 8 weeks. This timeframe allows for precise construction and quality control.
β¨Step Five: Final Review & Delivery
When your pad is complete, we will send final photographs for your approval prior to shipment.
After confirmation, your pad is carefully packaged and prepared for delivery. From there, it makes its way to you β ready for the show pen, practice pen, or out on the ranch.
